Hunting saber with yatagan blade - Late 18th early 19th century Beautiful yatagan blade dated 1184 of the Hegira calendar (1770-1771 of the Gregorian calendar). Possibly a remounting of a prize blade following the Egyptian campaign. Silver guard with owner's monogram. Handle made of two horn plates and three silver rivets. The guard has a little play. Total length 75.5cm Blade length 62cm Weight 560gr
