Superb Regency period console in waxed blond oak, double curve on the front and on the sides, high crosspiece carved with an openwork shell and a decoration of scrolls, foliage, fleurons, etc., volute and counter-volute, the curved and counter-curved front uprights carved with shells, acanthus leaves, laurel leaves, ending with an inverted shell resting on another small shell and joining on a low crosspiece where a superb openwork shell sits. The period marble is a Flanders marble with a corbin beak. This Parisian console is of a very high quality of execution.
