Kukuri style knife (kukri) with jadeite handle - India or Afghanistan, Victorian era (second half of the 19th century) The proportions of the weapon are those of a dagger and not a Nepalese kukuri, however they take up the exact shape. This type of kukuri had the function of prestige or gift in India during the Victorian era. Superb jadeite handle. Steel blade with convex and counter-edged edge. Wooden scabbard covered with black leather and chiseled steel elements. 7cm slot on the inside of the scabbard, without impact on its solidity (see last photo).
