This glassworks initially specialized in medical glassware diversified its production from 1925, at the heart of the Art Deco period, to move towards decorative objects. This ball vase is the perfect illustration.
The manufacturing technique is that of molded pressed glass.
There is a beautiful variety in the decoration.
The small neck is underlined by a bead and surrounded by vertical ribs.
The central part is an alternation of clear glass festoons and granular patterns of frosted glass.
The lower half repeats the alternation of clear and frosted glass in inversion compared to the upper level.
The base, much wider than the neck, has the same rounded bead.
The ball vase has been declined in numerous versions by the SPV in white or lightly tinted glass.
The highlighting of the reliefs in a carmine red tone makes this one original, two-tone models being very rare.
Discreet due to its modest size, 14.5 cm in all directions, but very present thanks to its color and the whiteness of the frosted surfaces, it will find its place everywhere in your interior.
