Jean Deprez born in Mons in 1939, sculptor, ironworker.
Studied at the School of Decorative Arts of La Louvière, at the Academy of Drawing Saint-Luc in Mons. Opened his workshop around 1965. Creates figurative or abstract works. Sometimes he combines bronze and steel.
Creation of monumental works "The Fountain of Peace" in Aachen (Germany 1991).
Exhibits in Brussels, Lasne, Aachen, Dendermonde, Louvain, Ghent, Houdeng-Ameries, Thieusies
