" Baccarat Or Le Creusot Cut Crystal Whiskey Or Cognac Decanter - Circa 1840"
Wine decanter / cognac decanter or whisky decanter in faceted cut crystal. Produced by Le Creusot in the 1830s and 1840s. It may also have been produced by Baccarat when it bought the Le Creusot factory, taking over its molds and catalogs. The Baccarat catalog of 1840 lists this "pear shape with cords." Beautiful collector's item, one of the first "series models," our Restoration period decanter is approximately 180 years old and in very good condition. Height: 28cm with the stopper, 23cm without the stopper. Diameter: 11cm.
