Shotgun with side-by-side percussion barrels - France, 2nd quarter of the 19th century A very nice construction including excellent wood carving work. Functional mechanism, the hammers hold the two notches and the percussion is clear. Finely carved noble wood with an antique head at the stock. Steel ribbon barrels. Plates marked with the name of the dealer "Reye Jeune à Champdeniers". Horn ramrod with ivory button. Oxidation on the metal parts but no pitting. Missing the tenon for the strap under the barrel.
