"Lunéville - Rare Polychrome Earthenware Mustard Pot With Street Lamp Decor - Signed"
Mustard pot and its fruit-shaped lid in Lunéville earthenware. It bears the half-porcelain stamp underneath and has kept its silver-plated mustard spoon. Early 20th century, around 1900. This is the famous Réverbère service, emblematic of the Keller et Guérin factory in Lunéville, the model found in all the good families of the bourgeoisie and aristocracy of Lorraine and Eastern France at the end of the 19th century. This decoration, inspired by the Louis XV style Strasbourg decoration, is adorned with hand-painted polychrome flower bouquets and enhanced with pink threads. It is found with several levels of finishes, our piece being of superior quality with the "combed" edge. Beautiful collector's item, rare. It is in excellent condition, fresh colors, no accidents.
