"Grand Tour Vase Naples Del Vecchio XIX Century"
Two-handled ceramic vase imitating the antique, with red figures on a black background, inspired by Attic ceramics.Made in Naples by the Del Vecchio manufactory in the 1840s, it is decorated with mythological scenes, on one side a scene of a warrior and a male character, on the other a man on horseback and a winged figure holding a ribbon.
In excellent condition, it has white spots on the surface, and a very small enamel loss on the rim, visible in the photo, an integral part of the description.
Mark engraved on the base, Del Vecchio in italics and below an N in capital letters
