The collaboration between Raul Gardini and Gae Aulenti dates back to the first half of the 1980s, when the architect designed the interiors of the sailing ship Il Moro, and continued over time in various fields, including fine vases after Raul Gardini's acquisition of the historic Vetreria Sizi.
In 1989, Gae Aulenti designed for Raul Gardini, inspired by Eva herself, a Kevlar and aluminum floor lamp measuring 245 cm high and 29 cm wide. Ten copies were produced and there was no series production, even after that.
Today, the 10 lamps are distributed as follows: 2 at the Gardini Foundation in Ravenna, 2 in the Gardini family homes, 2 in the Angelini collection in Rome, 4 in our possession
