Very fine pair of giltwood armchairs bearing a "Villargenne" label, probably referring to the Château de Montvillargène, property of Baroness Léonino, née Jeanne de Rothschild. Decorated with foliage, trelliswork, and a floral cartouche, resting on arched legs. Needlepoint tapestry, some missing and worn. Some gilding and repairs. Fully pegged, 18th or 19th century work.
