"A Louis XVI Mahogany Bonheur-du-jour Secretary"
A Louis XVI mahogany "bonjours-du-jour" secretary with a portfolio top providing a 78 cm by 40 cm work surface upholstered in green leather, topped with a body opening with two drawers and two glass doors resting on a fluted base typically in the Louis XVI style.
It is topped with its "white veined" Carrara marble top surrounded by its openwork gallery. Dating from the mid-19th century, around 1850, it should be noted that its shelf is removable, which allows for easy storage.
