Large linen sheet with the initials MB highlighted by a large white embroidery composed of a garland of vine branches. Very beautiful execution of work whose finesse and regularity attest to the know-how of an experienced embroiderer. Plumetis, sand stitch, cord stitch and padded bourdon stitch depict this decoration with precision. Beautiful color of the linen having been relatively little washed, a slightly grayed off-white. Typical wedding trousseau piece from the second half of the 19th century.
