On a black background, six birds and eight butterflies enliven this tapestry, woven in the PINTON workshops in Aubusson, in the 1950s. The cartoonist, René PERROT (1912-1979) signed it in the upper right and authenticated in the lower left. In the center, a large pheasant, the artist's emblematic bird, is placed on the ground. It is surrounded by a flight of various very colorful birds and butterflies, among a cloud of multicolored flowers. On the back, lower right, we find embroidered, the weaving proof: 3/6. We attach, lower left, the certificate of authenticity of René Perrot. Beautiful tapestry, in very good condition, with a striking decorative effect.
