"Large Porcelain Vase Design Frederic De Luca Circa 1980 (garouste-bonetti Style)"
Glazed porcelain vase on a black background, with geometric red, white and gold decorations. Signature: Frederic de Luca Paris. A lamp from the same series can be seen on another ad on the site. Frédéric de Luca was born in 1949. After graduating from the Métiers d'Art et Arts Appliqués, he started in fashion. A fabric designer, then specializing in knitwear, he then worked for many years for shoe collections of prestigious brands in Italy. In 1983 he founded the publishing house "En attendant les barbares" bringing together young designers who went against the modernist trend. The leaders are Mattia Bonetti, Elisabeth Garouste, Eric Schmitt, Olivier Gagnère, Jacques Jarrige. This movement revolutionized the world of Decorative Arts and gave a whole new generation a taste for decoration. Today he decorates apartments, designs custom furniture for special orders and returns to his first passion, geometric compositions – which he creates in gouache – and exports all over the world.
