On this occasion, the Museum of Fine Arts in Valencia acquired 'La jeune fille latine', a bronze head with a green patina very clearly inspired by the art of Bourdelle. The Galerie Eugène Druet was the first Parisian gallery to dedicate an exhibition to her, in 1921. Seven years later, in 1928, Marthe Spitzer exhibited at the 16th Venice Biennale.
During her career, the State purchased at least four of her works, which are now listed in the inventory of the National Center for Plastic Arts. Marthe Spitzer also created an astonishing religious monument in the heart of the Sainte-Baume massif in honor of the local saint: Madeleine. While Debussy's head, the artist's most famous work, has been widely reproduced; in collaboration with the founder Alexis Rudier; works by Marthe Spitzer are very rare. Of this size and even more so in bronze.
