Painting representing the Garden of Eden by Sophie Mikhailovna Strouvé born in 1922 in Paris. superb original frame signed lower left perfect condition Height: 67 cm Width: 82 cm Sophie is the daughter of the poet and literary critic Michel Alexandrovitch Struve (1890-1949) Sophie Strouvé lived in Nice, then in Paris where she finished the School of Applied Arts. She exhibited in Paris in 1954 at the exhibition of naive painters, then in 1956, 1960, 1961 and 1962 she participated in group exhibitions at the Salon Comparaisons
