A stunning piece of Italian craftsmanship that catches the eye and pays homage to the famous "Cassettone Intarsiato" model created by the Italian cabinetmaker and "intasiatore" (marquetry maker) Guiseppe Maggiolini in 1790. Incidentally, this famous chest of drawers is on display at the Milan Furniture Museum. Elaborately veneered with beautiful olive and walnut wood, this exceptional chest of drawers features extraordinary and detailed floral marquetry work in various precious woods such as maple, plum, birch, walnut and beech. It has three large drawers with lovely brass applications, the central drawer being additionally adorned with a woman's head.
