"Antique Coral Cameos Gold Earrings"
Here we have a very nice pair of antique earrings with cameos drops carefully hand-carved in pink coral full of delicate details. It is represented the head of a Baccante (a follower of Bacchus, God of wine, during the dances for the wine festivals). Of course her head is decorated with wine leaves and bunches of grapes. Please look carefully at the intricate details of the head decoration. The face is very beautiful and elegant. On the back a full decoration of leaves and grapes. Second half of the 19th century. From a family collection in Rome. 14K gold (touchstone tested).- Size : cm. 5
