Traveling Icon Representing The Intercession, Bronze, Russia 18th / Deisis Christ

Russian travel icon representing the intercession with Christ sitting on his throne in the center of the composition, surrounded by the Virgin, Saint John the Baptist, the archangels Michael and Gabriel as well as numerous other saints.
This work dates from the end of the 18th century or the beginning of the 19th century (circa 1780/1820) and is made of bronze (Old Believer school).
This type of composition is called "Deisis" -- meaning in Greek Intercession or prayer. Thus, Mary, Saint John and the other saints, in prayer and heads bowed, implore Christ to save humanity and to forgive its sins.
Good general condition with a nice patina. Minor wear from time.
