Louis XVI chest of drawers known as "sauteuse" with 2 drawers in precious wood marquetry, amaranth, satin, rosewood, lemon tree, cycamore and tinted fillets. Front uprights with cut-off sides extending into a sheath in the lower part to finish with bronze sabots on the ground. Chest of drawers entirely mounted on softwood as very often at this time. Chest of drawers topped with its period blue turquin marble underlined by a groove on its perimeter and very soberly dressed with chiseled bronzes, round handles, keyholes and 4 lower foot sabots, also 2 locks with period keys. Chest of drawers of very good quality, in perfect condition, revarnished with a buffer and entirely period.
