"Antique Academic Drawing Depicting Marcellus"
Very interesting and large, perfectly executed drawing of the sculpture of "Marcellus" kept in the Louvre Museum, originally purchased by Louis XIV in 1685. The quality of execution of the paper but of course of the pencil shows that the latter is not only early in the 19th century (the face is closer to an 18th interpretation) but also that the size shows academic work. It has no frame.
