"Michel Zadounaisky Candle Holder Signed Hammered, Riveted Circa 1940"
Wrought iron candlestick with three arms, structured around a hammered circle decorated with stylized plant motifs. The whole rests on a rectangular base, with balanced volumes and a rhythmic composition typical of Michel Zadounaisky's work. The texture of the metal, obtained by hammering, gives a particular vibration to the light. The signature is present on one of the parts. Zadounaisky is part of a tradition of artistic ironwork where modernism, symbolism and artisanal precision intersect.
