Large Orientalist bronze measuring 67.5 cm by Émile Coriolan Guillemin born in Paris in 1841 and died there in 1907. He left for North Africa to catalog the anthropological characteristics of the different local cultures. This mission became a source of inspiration and creation which allowed him to join the Orientalist movement. Our bronze representing the spinner is of high quality cast as well as patina mixing dark brown, light brown, red and golden reflections. Émile Guillemin worked among others with Barbedienne as well as Christofle. In perfect condition. Signature located on the base at the back. Just to note, the thread is missing.
