Very nice display and curiosity archaeologic item

Small carved bone knife handle depicting a feline holding prey in its mouth
IMPERIAL ROMAN PERIOD (-27 BC; +476 AD)

Our item seems to me to be more detailed and finer than this one.
The sculpture seems angular because the object remains miniature.

Very good condition, (the slot at the end of the handle has been filled and received the rod used for the base, rudimentary and typical of late 19th century)
