Interesting and rare model of plate dating from the second half of the 18th century, in German porcelain from the Hoscht factory (1746-1794). Rococo ornamentation decorations with cartouches adorned with vases on the rim and a gallant scene in the middle of the plate. The decorations are painted in polychrome enhanced with gold. Gold wheel mark on the back as well as a hollow mark. Perfect condition. Hoscht: "This earthenware and porcelain factory near Mainz was founded in 1746 by AF Von Lowenfinck. In the years following its foundation, it produced brightly colored earthenware, including very characteristic terrines in the shape of animals or vegetables. In 1750 under the patronage of the Elector of Mainz, it obtained the privilege of manufacturing porcelain.
