Pair of Scandinavian chairs by Danish designers Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen. Model 316. 1970s. Tech chair with woven rope seat. Slightly tapered legs extending at the back to form the two backrest uprights in the shape of a stylized "smile" bordered by a small return. Tapered chair rungs positioned slightly obliquely on the sides. Stretched rope seat. Original rope with minor wear and traces of paint on the back of one of them. Good condition. Marked "Made in Denmark" on the rear rungs.
