"Knight's Sword, German, 12th Century."

Strong double-edged fuller with a long, narrow fuller on both sides. A small corrosion hole at the lower end of the fuller. A circular cross inlaid in brass on one side.Widely projecting, straight, square crossguard, tapered tang with a flat Brazil nut pommel, length 106 cm.Provenance: London private collection, acquired in 1990 from Hermann Historica.
