"Lubin Perfumer Marquetry Scent Box"
Rosewood marquetry folding box revealing a scent cellar composed of two crystal bottles enhanced with fine gold decoration. The lemonwood interior contains a compartment closed by a lid and a storage space. This box is curved on three sides, it opens on a brass hinge, it can be locked thanks to its lock with original key. The bottles are in excellent condition without defects on the crystal or on the gilding, they each bear a glued paper label from the perfumer Lubin. This famous perfumery founded in the 18th century, very quickly found its place among the greatest European courts. Dimensions of the bottles: height 7cm / width 4.5cm / depth 3cm
