Trained in Cahors during her early years in the local drawing school, she left her land for Asnières sur Seine during the 1930s. She presented her works in various salons, including the Salon des Artistes Français, mainly landscapes, urban for the most part.
Our painting, created shortly before the 1937 Asnières exhibition, is a testament to the artist's hometown through its most iconic monument, the Pont Valentré. It is depicted here in cream and ochre tones, a work that will be very luminous once cleaned.
