"Bronze Young Faun Clodion"
bronze after CLODION (Claude Michel clodion 1738-1814) Young fauns represented seated, legs crossed, a mythological figure in the movement of awakening, the juvenile faun, also known as satyr, directly inherited from Greek mythology, anthropomorphic creature with goat legs, tail and ears. The plump body, sitting on a sheepskin, on a tree trunk, arm raised and bent backward, with the other hand, he rubs his eyes. He carries his pan flute slung over his shoulder.
