19th century two-part glass-fronted bookcase. Materials: mahogany. Characteristics: in the upper part, this glass-fronted bookcase is composed of three glass-fronted cupboards: two with one door and one with two doors. They all have three height-adjustable shelves. In the lower part, the glass-fronted bookcase is also composed of three closed cupboards: two with one door and one with two doors. They each have one shelf, not adjustable in height. The locks are all functional and have been greased. Two keys are provided. The glass-fronted bookcase is partially disassembled into four parts: the lower part, the three glass-fronted cupboards in the upper part and the cornice. Renovation: this glass-fronted bookcase has been completely sanded (exterior and interior) to remove its glossy varnish. It then underwent extensive work to patinate it in black. Finally, it has been waxed. Condition: the glass-fronted bookcase is in superb condition. Two small losses of veneer are noted on the right door of the upper part.
