Large ivory okimono depicting a cormorant fisherman carrying a trap on his back and a basket full of fish on his hip while his cormorant undoes his bun. Beautiful gesture. Signature in a red lacquer cartouche, Yoshisei (?), affixed to a wooden base. Japan, early Taisho period. Height: 33cm
