" Ivory Christ, Louis XV Rocaille Style Bedside Crucifix - 19th Century"
Christ called crucifix of bed bottom in carved ivory on a gilded wooden cross, placed on a background of silk damask in a rich rocaille frame in the Louis XV style. Work of the end of the 19th century. Sculpture of the 19th century, our Christ conforms to the requirements of the Washington Convention of 1947 concerning the trade in ivory. Our Christ is in good condition. The frame is gilded with gold leaf, in very good condition without loss and has been cleaned by our gilder; the gilding is very beautiful. Height: 15cm Frame: 50cm x 22cm
