"Reliquary Painting With Enamelled Plaque Of Saint Augustine – 18th Century "
Decorated with quills, our reliquary has in its center an oval plaque in painted enamels representing Saint Augustine. This enameled plaque is characteristic of the production of the Laudin family in Limoges at the beginning of the 18th century. The ex-ossibus relics presented are bagged and are those of several saints that the phylacteries do not name.
The frame is in carved and gilded wood of the period.
