Shotgun with side-by-side percussion barrels - France, circa 1840-1850 Beautifully crafted. Functional mechanism, the hammers hold both notches and the percussion is clear. Finely carved noble wood with an antique head at the stock. Lyonnet fils ribbon steel barrel. The ramrod matches perfectly in length but does not seem to be the original. 2 small chips in the wood under the hammers as well as on each side of the foregrip. The right chimney is blocked.
