"Miner's Oil Lamp Type Rave _ 18th-19th Century"
Very large miner's oil lamp of the rooster rave type from the 18th or 19th century. Made of wrought iron. The body of the reservoir is round with an external diameter of 12.5 cm. The rooster is present without loss. The reservoir is connected by a wrought iron stirrup mounted on a double joint and decorated with two olives. Its height is 14 cm. The suspension hook is remarkable for its length (74 cm) and its shape, which makes this lamp rare. The shaft of the hook is wrought iron, partly round, octagonal and triangular. It is decorated in its center with a heart of 6.5 cm in diameter. The base is made of a triangle and not a simple hook on a ring as is classic. 4 olives enrich the shaft of this hook. The photos support my point. If necessary, do not hesitate to ask for additional photos.
