Hallmarks: three under the tray: (1) Crowned fleur-de-lis for Lille, (2) F for 1747-1748, (3) M, a grain, I, on D, for the master silversmith Martin-Joseph Defontaine
Engraving: carved under the tray, I D B

A similar model by the same master silversmith is listed in Nicole Cartier's book Les Orfèvres de Lille, under number 280
