"Art Nouveau "umbels" Cup By Leon Kann, Founder Of Siot Decauville In Gilt Bronze, Circa 1900"
Beautiful gilt bronze cup, "umbels" by Leon Kann (1859-1925). A very pretty model, typical of the art-nouveau period for this polylobed gilt bronze cup. Here we are the purest representation of nature, with this cup all in curves evoking a plant form and especially a base in finely chiseled umbel stems. Very beautiful quality of execution, the illustrious founder Siot Decauville was associated with the creation of this piece. Dimensions: 21.3 cm long, 15 cm wide, signed "L.Kann" on the side as well as the foundry stamp "SIOT-Paris" stamped under the base. Perfect condition, circa 1900. Very beautiful art-nouveau object, very charming.
