"Neoclassical Lacquered Fireplace Italy Late 18th – Early 19th Century"
Neoclassical lacquered mantelpiece. Made with a mirror in the support base while in the upper part a camber encloses an oval reserve in which an allegorical painting depicting "Justice" with cupids is housed; the frame is lacquered in shades of ochre and gray and yellow, with reserves painted with classic candelabra and white festoons on a light blue background.
