Alfred Stevens, born May 11, 1823 in Brussels and died August 29, 1906 in Paris, is a Belgian painter. A student of Ingres at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris from 1844, his career experienced a meteoric rise both in Belgium and in France where he spent most of his life.
Louise Danse, born in Brussels in 1867 and died in 1948, is a Belgian artist.
