Description
Antique alpine wardrobe painted in dark green tones, dated 1830. The doors are embellished with refined paintings, with floral and symbolic motifs in warm and harmonious colors. On the chamfers and sides there are geometric motifs and ramages. The upper cornice and the door stop are instead decorated with a faux marble motif. The hardware is original, well preserved and functional, complete with hinges, escutcheons, lock with key. The wardrobe is not yet restored. It will be delivered fully restored and customized according to the buyer’s preferences.
Restoration information
Our laboratory guarantees conservative restoration for each piece of furniture while respecting its integrity.
Each piece of furniture is treated to ensure solidity and hygiene.
In particular, the following are carried out:
– structural restoration
– careful anti-woodworm treatment
– cleaning and sanitization of the interior
– external finish with natural beeswax
– internal finish with shellac (natural alcohol-based varnish)
Upon request, we can agree on the desired level of restoration and the customization of the interior layout (clothes hanger poles, shelves, etc.).
