Picart Le Doux Charles Alexandre, painter and illustrator, born in Paris on July 12, 1881, died in October 1959. Debuted at the Salon des Indépendants in 1904, he also appeared at the Salon d'Automne and that of the Nationale, as well as that of the Tuileries. He received in 1937 the great Gold Medal of the International Exhibition. Officer of the Legion of Honor in 1950. He was especially known as a painter of nudes, he even taught this art in a free academy of Montparnasse. Painter exhibited in many museums: Algiers, Bagnols, Le Havre, Mouscou, Paris, etc...
