"Hanap Said Ewer With Helmet In Silver Metal, Louis XIV Period"
Large and wide hanap called "helmet ewer" in silver-plated metal. It consists of a main body screwed onto a pedestal. Beautiful ornamentation of applied lambrequins. It was re-silvered in the middle of the 19th century by the Christofle house as evidenced by the intervention hallmark. Very thick silver plating, some small wear on the edges of the threads and appliques. Small deformation on the pedestal, Small crack in the metal on the edge of the pouring board.
