These scenes, delightfully enlivened by characters going about their rural occupations, are of great finesse of execution; one can also note the almost monochrome of bluish gray throughout. Oil on beech wood panels. Modern frames in wood and gilded stucco from the Parisian DELF house. French school from the end of the 18th century, with Flemish inspiration.
