Mario Bonamici, painter born in Paris in 1912 and died in Lausanne in 2002. Coming from a family of Italian painters, whose parents arrived in France in 1910, Mario Bonamici was introduced to drawing and painting at a very early age. He attended the School of Decorative Arts from the age of sixteen and made his debut in the renowned Jarach and Chambry studio as an illustrator. He frequented the worlds of fashion, theater, and cinema. His brilliant pencil stroke was noticed, and he devoted part of his professional life in France and Switzerland as a fashion designer alongside his career as a painter.
