"Still Life Bouquet Of Chrysanthemums – Oil On Canvas, Early 20th Century"

Large oil on canvas depicting a bouquet of chrysanthemums whose colors burst onto a plum background. The flowers are wide open, the golden yellow, white, and dark red heads stand out against the grayish-green foliage. They are arranged in a transparent vase on an entablature covered with dark fabric. The plum background material is worked, giving great dynamism to the whole.

The work is signed M. Lauliès at the bottom right. It is in very good condition, clean, surrounded by a thin modern baguette.
The whole is extremely decorative and will look great on a light background.
