Empire hot water bottle lamp with two lights in black painted sheet metal and polished chiseled bronze, 19th century.
The lampshades are suspended by brass chains with two intertwined bronze snakes on a painted sheet metal shaft.
The shaft, which rests on a bronze torch, is decorated with an eagle holding a snake in its talons, an allegory of the triumph of good over evil.
Base forming an openwork basket.
New electrification : candles with their systems for E14 screw bulbs, new wire.
Note : old restoration on the end of the snakes' tails visible in photo No. 4. Rare model.
