Superb set of twelve silver-plated chop handles dating from the late 19th century.

The handles are in the Louis XV style with a rich decoration of acanthus leaves, foliage scrolls, flowers, and a second rocaille skin.
The ends are made of metal with an openwork trilobed screw.

The handles are hallmarked:
Six of them have the Minerva, 1st grade from before 1973 for the 950/°° silver
The other six have the Minerva, 2nd grade from before 1973 for the 800/°° silver

Although the grade is different for the two sets, the individual clips are all identical.

A superb and numerous set of chop handles with a rich Louis XV decoration.

11.3 cm long

273 grams gross for the set. Good condition. Some oxidation on the metal parts.
