"Pair Of Cloisonné Enamel Dishes, Japan, Meiji Age (1868-1912)"
Pair of Japanese cloisonné enamel dishes, both decorated with a rich decoration of lush vegetation on a turquoise blue background. They are decorated on the edge with a geometric frieze. Birds in full flight above flowers, dahlias, peonies, or pollinating... make up this magnificent decoration. This is a "real pair" with different decorations facing each other and not two times the same decoration. Sino-Japanese, Meiji style, second half of the 19th century.. Very good condition. Slight marks of time.
